At The Spring Equinox
Sonnet Poem - written this poem when I was in fifth semester in 2010
At The Spring Equinox
You worn your blue serene lake tuxedo
I worn my green humid rainforest gown
We flee across river like torpedo
Gazed the heart of vernal sun far from town
Our wings floated on crinkled pink
blue cloud
Pale silver moonlight flowed
through our veins
Caroled the meadow’s harmony out
loud
Blueberry slushy river mild our
brains
When I slipped down
and my world fell away
And even the shining sun seemed tired,
And even the shining sun seemed tired,
You there, lift my pain and always allay
Before spring equinox has been soaked
My two violet eyes would get brighter
Because you made my stout wings grew lighter
