Human Beings Responsibility toward Global Warming 

Since the beginning of 20^th century, we have been facing a fact that Earth is in the hottest phase, later we used to call this phenomenon as a global warming. Global warming is the increase in the average temperature of Earth’s surface since the mid-20th century and its projected continuation. Formerly, the probability of climate change in Earth was found by scientist since knowledge about climate has been found out. From their studies about the ice age, they found that climate in Earth can radically change become a very extreme climate by itself. Scientists believed that some years later, Earth’s climate will change again but they can’t predict the exact time when it will happen and also they have not found yet the exact reasons that can cause the Earth’s climate extremely change, is it because falling meteors, volcano’s explosion, sun’s radiation or something else. 

Until now, many debates are still discussed to reveal who is taking the biggest responsibility for the global warming. There are three possibilities that caused global warming, first it is because human behavior, second it is because the external change or astronomical reason, and the third it is because the changes in the system from Earth itself. But actually above all natural reasons, human beings are the center reason of this climate change because of the human’s exploitation towards nature whose make the climate change become worse. Human beings can completely hold responsibility for global warming.

It is asserted that global warming is a phenomenon of Earth that can not be prevented and can not be stopped. Global warming is a natural cycle of Earth, from cold to hot, and vice versa.  Previously, Earth was in an ice age. It happened naturally by itself and it ended naturally by itself without any human’s interventions and now in 20^th century Earth is facing the hot phase that include in the natural cycle itself. It is true overall but we might not forget the essential point that Earth is not only in the hot phase but also in the hottest phase. In 19^th century scientist found about the gas content in the atmosphere, known as greenhouse gases, which could affect the climate on Earth. This gas is trapped in Earth, that’s why Earth is getting hot. Basically Earth has its own ability to recycle the gas which is known later as carbon dioxide.

From that scientific evidence some people can say that global warming is something that happens naturally. However, human beings give the most contribution that make the climate change become worse. The increasing number of using vehicles and machines which have been starting from the Industrial Revolution in 1750 is one of the main factors why climate can radically change. The using of vehicles are extremely increase which is also make the increasing amount of carbon dioxide’s emission too. Therefore, it is clearly to say that human beings have been contributing to the climate change for many years ago without realizing the negative impacts to Earth. Based on the UN’s report, vehicles’ emission from all over the world contribute about 13% of emission in green house gases. The great amount of carbon dioxide that produces through unnatural ways can not be recycled naturally by Earth too. This condition makes Earth getting hotter and finally Earth faces the global warming.

It has been argued that the climate change in Earth happened because of the astronomical reason which is included as an external reason. The change in the sun spot is also contributed in the global warming. Sun’s position which is getting nearer to Earth makes Earth experiences a hot phase. Besides the sun’s position, the cause also comes from the sun itself. At the beginning life of the sun and all other stars, it will shine gloomy than now. But when the stars are getting older, the radiations are also getting hotter. Unsurprisingly the sun’s radiation is getting ferociously nowadays.

However, those reasons are not well observed and consider as weak reasons. It can be caused by the lack of evidences whether the excessive of sun radiation is harmful and dangerous for Earth or not. In contrast, there is well-observed evidence that shows main contribution to global warming. Based on UN’s report, farming industry produce the higher emission of greenhouse gases which is about 18%. Farming releases methane that is 23 times more dangerous than carbon dioxide. Besides the badness of farming from the production of dangerous gas, farming also took the biggest areas that make plants and trees are getting decrease. About 70% of forest is used to open new areas for farming. Based from those facts, the conclusion to be appeared is that the excessive of human’s behavior in the daily days give the most badly contribution to the global warming. The bad habit of human’s pattern in eating who are carnivore and that eating pattern have been being started from many years ago make the climate change is getting worse

It is a necessity for human beings to take the fully responsibility for the global warming because they are the biggest contributor in the climate change and who make the climate change become worse. It is true if global warming can not be stopped and prevented because it is included in Earth’s cycle itself but actually human beings can make it not getting degrade. Actually, some easy solutions are available for us such as decrease in eating meat, diminishing the use of vehicles so that the pollution can also be reduced, place the wet clothes into the sun so that the using of drier machine can be reduced, cultivate some plants or trees on the neighborhood, save the using of papers because it made from tree, decreased the using of plastic because plastic is hard to be renewed. Human beings’ participations to this global warming matter are very highly recommended to save the dying Earth.
