Bumi Manusia/Terre Des Hommes/Man and His World: My companion on the way to Yogyakarta
Now 08:26 pm and I'm in a train heading to Yogyakarta. My companion is a book Terre des Hommes written by Antoine de Saint-Exupery or in English it is translated into Man and His World. I read the Indonesian translation published by Gramedia in 2011 titled Bumi Manusia. I got the book accidentally in a book market in Yogyakarta because actually I was searching for John Green's book, The Fault in Our Stars. I was so happy and very excited when I found it.

I just finished the part when Antoine told the story of his beloved friend who survived from a plane's crash in Andes Mountain, Henri Guillamuet, a name that appear in the dedication page, a name that means so much to Antoine - I realized it when Antoine told the story with such respect and honor toward Guillamuet.

A line of Antoine's words about his friend, Guillamuet
Like Guillamuet, a brave man who fights againts death in the name of his Creator.
A line told by Guillamuet to Antoine
You'll be bothered from time to time by storms, fog, snow. When you are, think of those who went through it before you, and say to yourself, 'What they could do, I can do.'
My journey from Jakarta to Yogyakarta will last for 8 hours. I still have plenty of time in the world with Terre des Hommes in my lap and I am ready to delve more into Antoine's journey exploring the earth, sands, stars and wind.
P.S
