Anais Nin: we write to taste life twice

We write to taste life twice is one of Anais' quotes that I hold dearly. 

This time, I'd like to write about my childhood memories that I still remember as clear as daylight. 

I remember the first english song that I memorized and sang in front of the class when I was in elementary school was Vanessa Carlton's A Thousand Miles.

I remember when I was in kindergarden,  me and the kids who lived in the same neighborhood were picked up by this fellow hired specially for picking up kids in my neighborhood, but unfortunately, one day he forgot that I was still at school, and forgot to pick me up. Then, I need to wait at school like a couple of hours, but trust me it feels like ages. Then the school gardener found me and took care of me. He gave this little candies with orange flavour. Later, my house maid at home called my mom because it's already 2 pm but I haven't arrived and soon after my mother directly picked me up. She said that when she met me at school, I wasn't crying at all. At night, the driver came to my house, met my mom and told my mom that he forgot and didn't remember at all. He was deeply apologize. Well, anyway it was one of the coolest experiences. I miss the school gardener, we used to call him "Pak Bon", pak means Mr. and Bon stands for Kebon means garden. I just wanted to say thank you for taking care of mini me, I sincerely appreciate it. 

I remember when I was in elementary school, the parent of my class mate came to me and angry because i was mad to their daughter. The complete story was that their daughter was being such a bitch toward my close friend, i just cant stand it, so i came to her and i spoke to her. The next day, her parents came to me. Sucks.

I remember my mother used to tell me bed time stories, but not a common story. She told stories about movies. Face/off, if i am not wrong. Awesome, that's why up until today, i really love movies. I like getting to know random actors and actresses. I memorize in what movie they have starred before. I like to see the end credit rolls and hear the songs play in the credit and also wait for the music part came up.

I remember when i was a kid, i was very fond of watching western series like Gilmore girls, true calling, one tree hill, baywatch, friends, popular. 

I remember when i was in elementary school, my school held a camp. One day i accidentally enter a bathroom and found my school mate was in that bathroom, a boy. Actually I didn't see anything, okay, maybe just a glimpse pf his underwear, but not more! Ugh. Later I heard that he was really upset about the accident and very ashame about it. 

I remember i was chosen as a chief group in scout in elementary school.

I remember i was chosen as a chief in class just because my second rank in class. Sucks.

I remember when I was in elementary school, I joined the school program called Little Doctor. 

I remember I was chosen as one of the instructors during weekly sports event at school in front of juniors. 

I remember i was chosen as Mother Mary at christmas play in my neighborhood community, but at school i was chosen as the land lord who mad at Mother Mary, Father Joseph and baby Jesus when they asked for a shelter because they cannot afford the rent. Ironic.
