Unexpexted Journey (2016)
Unexpected Journey - likely yield similar outcomes with the one Bilbo had in "The Hobbit" but minus Gandalf the Grey, the Rivendel, the stubborn dwarfs, the gorgeous Smaug, the hideous orcs, the Mirkwood spiders and surely minus the young Legolas - nyumm.
It happened during my last holiday in the early of July when I supposed to go home to Jogja by train but because my lack of accuracy, I missed the train unpurposely, meh.

How could you do that to yourself??? I never, ever, miss any train or flight before, I don't know why I did it. It really breaks my heart, not only because it's very ridiculous, but moreover it's very uneconomical.
According to http://www.thefreedictionary.com/, uneconomical means inefficient in use of time and effort and materials. Well, that's exactly what I committed, inefficient of materials means in this case is money, sigh. I need to search other transportation and need to pay a lot more :((

I knew that I had zero chance to get a ticket in a very short time to Jogja since it's very a popular destination during the holiday, so I moved my eye to Solo, the nearest city to Jogja and so my fingers were tapping so fast and my brain was working so hard to search the flight and to contact Kimid who is my only hope, my only savior who can pick me at Solo and he said YES! Infinite thanks to Kimid! my lil hero!
After my 100th attempts in refreshing the Traveloka page which resulted in zero search, finally in my 101th attempt, I found the one and only flight to Solo.
Yassssssssss, bless my braveheart and gladiator soul! After I done with the payment thing, I moved my ass from Gambir Station to Halim Airport.
The time line is basically as follow:
- 08.00 a.m
The train scheduled to be departed at 08.50 a.m meanwhile I innocently ordered grab car at 08.00.
- 08.10 a.m
Still stuck in the traffic jam because of the morning market that I innocently forgot it exists every Saturday morning.
- 08.15 a.m
Panic attack. Try to stop the car and search for grab bike. The grab driver was so kind, he just asked me to pay the half price.
- 08.20 a.m
Hopped into the grab bike - the grab car driver accompanied me until the grab biker arrived. Me and the grab biker were like tazmanian devil in the street and on the way, somehow I have this kind of faith that I'm not gonna make it. So I decided to search the airplane ticket.
- 09.15 a.m
Arrived at Gambir Station. I knew from the beginning that it was impossible that the train hadn't departed yet, but still I asked the guard. I don't know why I'm doing these, maybe it's just the way people usually do when they know they late but still ask the stupid question, am I late?
- 09.16 - 10.30 a.m
Searching for a lovely spot to calm myself down. Found one. The sellers were very nice, they served me a delicious bread and sweet strawberry juice, they even allowed me to charge my cellphone while I was busy with the Traveloka thing and they even helped me kept my big luggage while I paid the ticket in the ATM.
- 10.31 a.m
Book a grab car to Halim Airport.
- around 11 a.m
Safely arrived at Halim.
- 02.00 p.m
Departed to Solo.
- 04.30 p.m
Safely arrived at Solo and met Kimid.
Note to myself : so proud of you! you can make it!
We did it! How far we came! Adi Soemarmo Airport Solo!
Since it was fasting month, we need to look for a place to break fasting and we ended up ate at Decker Bus!
What you need the most when you are in holiday??? It's retail therapy! So we drove to the Park, the new mall that we've never try before.
After check out from Tembi at 1 p.m, we went to the mall at the city since I'm looking for a cutie sling bag and at night we had dinner at Mushiro, my favorite place of all time to eat Korean food in Jogja and like what I always do, I ordered my favorite menu, which is a complexion of ramen, toppoki and kimbap, nyum ~
And that wrapped the most unexpected journey I've been experienced until this mid year of 2016 since I have no idea what will happen for the rest of this year and maybe there will be a lot more other journeys that waiting for me.
Niceee!
I tried to dress Kimid like Matt Healy, you know, with the floral thing, but yup, I kinda failed :))
After going to the Park, we went back to Jogja and since it already midnight, I decided to stay in Tembi Rumah Budaya at Bantul which I've been dreaming for so long. Finally, the time had came and I was able to spend the night in this sun-kissed bungalow!
The top reasons why I love staying at Tembi Rumah Budaya and why you should too ;p)
1. The design
Rumah Tembi Budaya offers various type of bungalows that have Javanese architecture design. The one that I chose was Polaman which cost around 700k.

2. The outdoor pool
It turns out to be a great choice because when I opened the backdoor, it guided me to this equatorial-rice field themed outdoor pool, my own kind of Rivendel - not that kind of Rivendel full of elves but it pretty much the same level of happiness. Plus, I was very lucky because at that time, no other people stay at Tembi - the bungalows already full booked on the other days but luckily no one has booked any bungalows when I got there and so literally I own that Rivendel pool, hah!

3. The outdoor shower
The bungalow, Polaman, also offers a great outdoor shower! Very exciting and exhilarating isn't it! Wohoooo!
4. The food
Rumah Tembi Budaya provides not only breakfast but also lunch.
For breakfast, they served fried rice and juice.
For lunch, they served fried chicken, fried noodle, vegie soup, fruit and juice. It's heaven.
Nyumm.

5. The ambience
What I like the most is because they successfuly build not only beautiful bungalows but also great ambience and awesome atmosphere that give so much impact to the surrounding. I love it!

I think it's pretty amazing how calmly I handled the whole situation. Thank You Me!
